In 2016 I visited most of the Harry Potter movie locations. It took me quite a long time to gather all the information, to plan a reasonable route, and to find suitable hostels and ferries.

Therefore I decided to provide other Harry Potter fans with my information and my experiences so you can start your own "Homewarts Journey" as soon as possible.

The map below shows you the locations you can visit following the path of Harry and his friends. Starting in London you will head north before conquering the sea.

Each checkpoint you see below will have its own clickable map. Every movie location includes a quote from the books or movies, a short description and a YouTube-link to some scenes. Some locations such as the Warner Bros. Studio London will have its own link.
